Welcome to Best Me LLC. I’m Dr. Betsy Goehrig, Pastoral Counselor
What is YOUR “Best Me?” Let me help you explore what that could look like and how to get there. Through pastoral counseling, I can help you find ways to heal, to grow, and to live more fully. As one who lost a child through murder, I have had to learn how to survive the very worst in life, to live purposefully with that pain, and to find my own new Best Me. For me, that is helping others like you. As a Pastor, Police Chaplain, Hospice Chaplain, and Denominational Leader, I have helped people work through many of life’s challenges and find hope and direction for a new beginning.
Facing issues in your special calling as clergy or law enforcement? Are you grieving from death, divorce, health, or other loss? Do you desire wisdom to strengthen your relationship or to recover from divorce? Do you need support for parenting birth, foster, or adoptive children? Are you looking for a new direction, renewed purpose, and a path to your dreams?
You can be assured that I am a safe place for you to share and explore, as I welcome you without judgment and with a true heart of compassion. While I have found faith helps to accomplish the impossible and to bear the unbearable, I do not push religion but meet you where you are and help you discover YOUR Best Me in body, mind, heart, and soul!

How are the counseling sessions conducted?
The sessions are conducted online via secure video conferencing platforms, ensuring convenience and accessibility for clients worldwide.
How much does the counseling cost?
One session $135, 3 sessions prepaid $380 ($25 savings), 6 sessions prepaid $750 ($60 savings), 12 sessions prepaid $1485 ($135 savings). You may also apply for sliding scale if needed/qualify. Anyone you refer who schedules and completes a session will provide a $25 discount for your next session.
How do I start counseling?
To start the counseling process, you may call for a free 15 minute consultation. When you sign up for the initial session, you will fill out a counseling intake form.
